R Kelly's music has been removed from spotify Playlist

R Kelly's music has been removed from spotify playlists for violating new hate conduct policy. This was as a result of the women of color movement collaborating with the Time's up movement and the #muteRKelly campaign.  They called on spotify and apple music some time in April to cut ties with R Kelly.
Spotify has taken cue and removed the singer's music from its editorial and alogrithmic playlists.
His music will no longer be featured on spotify promoted playlists but his songs and albums will be available to stream on the service. In a statement released by spotify, "We are removing R Kelly's music from all spotify owned and operated playlists and alogrithmic recommendations such as Discover weekly,  his music will still be available on the services, but spotify will not actively promote it. We don't censor content because of an artist's or creator's behavior,  but we want our editorial decisions, what we choose to programme to reflect values. When an artist or creator does something that is especially harmful or hateful, it may affect the ways we work with or support that artist or creator".
Fifty cent questioned spotify for this act and R Kelly thanked him for the support. XXX tentacion's music was removed from their playlists too.
