Nigeria and Egypt drew 1-1 at the tournament which held at the Ahmadu Bello statium, Kaduna.
The Deputy Governor of Kaduna State and the Minister of Sports, Solomon Dalung were at the stadium yesterday to cheer the Super Eagles.
Mikel Obi, the new captain of Nigeria's senior team at the dinner thanked the Kaduna State Governor, El-Rufai for his continuous support and promised him that the team will do well in the return leg in Egypt.
